So as some of you know, I have been sewing & donating masks for first responders all over the country for the past couple months.
With a mask request list I put together of over 65 hospitals nationwide including 2,000+ masks needed, I quickly realized I could not do it all myself. I put out a call to seamstresses to help me tackle this, & over 100 amazing sewers reached out to help! I am happy to say we have successfully fulfilled 98% of those orders as we are nearing the end of the first responder list.
During this hard time for everyone, a silver lining I have witnessed is the many people that have come together to help those helping others . I have not charged a penny to any first responders for their masks, as what I was doing was strictly a donation basis to show appreciation for all they are doing.
I have happily put my business on hold to accomplish this, & now as my list is pretty much complete, I am ready to start making masks for everyone. I apologize to those that have reached out looking to purchase one in the past couple weeks, I wanted to stay dedicated to the promises I made to our front liners!
